It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the death of Major General (Rtd) Simon Kiplimo Muttai, M.G.H., E.B.S. awc (U.S.A) psc (U.K) (Former Airforce Commander) at Nairobi Hospital on Thursday, 13 th August, 2009. Son of Prisca Chesang Kapchuma and the late Josephat Kapchuma (Kapcheburet). Beloved husband of Mary Muttai. Father to Steve Muttai, Sammy Muttai and Seth Muttai. Brother to Eda Kuto, Nelly Mining, the late Tito Muttai, Naum Lagat, Dorcas Rotich, Julia Sugut, Nicholas Muttai and Joyce Killy. Father-in-law to Anne Muttai. Son-in-law to Dorcas Samoei and the late Paul Samoei. Brother-in-law to Dinah Chesang. Grandfather to Jonathan Muttai.

Sir. Muttai, as referred to by most of the students, inspired many to seek and achieve the Very Best. He was very casual with the students and staff and would most of the time be found talking to a group of students inspiring them, sharing a meal with them in the dining hall and who could forget seeing him stroll through the school grounds day and night. He invested most of his hard earned income to build this school and we hope to keep his dream alive through the years.
We sure will miss the Chairman but despite that, we hold on to the mission he left behind, " To provide the best motivation for the children in an optimum enviroment to enable them to; embrace excellence, respect self and mankind, Achieve the best in life and Excel in society".
